GTN 16 the Government Access Division of the Ramsey/Washington Suburban Cable Commission: Providing video production services to our member municipalities. Informing residents about government services, resources, activities and policies.  Facilitating cable communications including city council and other municipal and local government meetings. Publicizing the work of civic and community groups.

Lake Area Beat        

       If fire and police reporting could be any more fun, we'd have to arrest the hosts of Lake Area Beat. White Bear Lake firefighter Ron Hawkins and police investigator Tracy Mlynarczyk host this show with flare. It's designed to inform and equip residents to stay and play safe. It tells the early history of the city of Vadnais Heights and its founders. This video also contains a history of the Vadnais Heights Fire Department.

Extreme Green Makeover

The Extreme Green Makeover program was created by the City of Maplewood and the Ramsey/Washington Metro Watershed District.  A $15,000 GREEN yard makeover was awarded to the contest winners, Michael and Michele Tibodeau. Their  front yard is a showplace for the beauty and efectivness of raingarden engineering. 

 

Northeast Journal      It's all about our towns in the Northeast suburbs. Host Joe Cullen presents information about city events, services and issues to keep area residents informed about their local government and the communities surrounding them. Tune each month for new and up to date program coverage of citywide happenings throughout the area.


Oakdale Update       Long time Oakdale resident Frank Orsello hosts Oakdale Update, a monthly program providing information on events and issues affecting the city. You'll see interviews with a wide range of guests from city officials to local residents who make Oakdale a better place to live.


 Bald Eagle Returns             Bald Eagles nests are increasing in Ramsey County. One nest is in Maplewood in Keller Park. Ramsey County Naturalist John Moriaty Shows us the pair at Keller Lake. The Eagles are adapting to modern life in a nest just off one of the areas busiest highways. Visit the eagle's nest viewing area.
